PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive sheet causing neither foaming nor repelling when applying an adhesive, good at adhesion to a polyolefin wrap, and when used as a thermal printing element, causing neither printing sensitivity decline nor print void. SOLUTION: This adhesive sheet is obtained by laminating a substrate with an adhesive layer, a silicone-based releasant layer and a release base paper in this order, and simultaneously meets the requirements(1) and (2) described below: (1) the adhesive forming the adhesive layer is an acrylic emulsion adhesive comprising 100 pts.wt. of a base polymer and 2-20 pts.wt. of a rosin-based tackifier >=80 deg.C in softening point; wherein the base polymer is a homopolymer and/or copolymer obtained by emulsion polymerization of a (meth)acrylic ester monomer or its mixture with another copolymerizable monomer in the presence of a surfactant consisting mainly of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether- and/or polyoxyethylene alkyl ester-based compound, and (2) the release base paper is glassine-type paper or clay coated-type paper provided with a coating layer consisting mainly of a pigment and a binder.
