PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shutter constituted so that the actuation amount of a desired sector can be obtained in a short time. SOLUTION: A shutter aperture 1a is formed in a shutter substrate 1, and sectors 4 and 5 for opening/closing the shutter aperture 1a are arranged. A driving lever 6 and a driving pin 7 for actuating the sectors 4 and 5 are driven by an actuator 10. The driving pin 7 passes through through-holes 4b and 5b formed in the sectors 4 and 5. The dimension of the through-holes 4b and 5b, is set to be large enough to substantially drive the driving pin 7 in an unloaded condition just after the driving pin 7 starts up. Accordingly, the sectors 4 and 5 are not actuated just after the driving pin 7 starts up, but are actuated after the driving pin 7 is satisfactorily accelerated.
