PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which does not absorb light by a polarizing plate, is high and bright in light utilization efficiently and is free of double mirroring of character and the like. SOLUTION: This display device is furnished with a pair of substrates arranged to face each other, a light controllable layer which is held between a pair of the substrates, a reflective member arranged on the one substrate of a pair of the substrates and active elements arranged on the another substrates of a pair of the substrates, in which the reflective member has a rugged shape on the light controllable layer side. |
