<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for inkjet which is excellent in optical density, bleeding, intercolor bleeding, drying time, and reliability of a maintenance unit, an inkjet recording device and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set for inkjet comprises at least two liquids, a first liquid comprising at least a coloring material, a water-soluble solvent and water, and a second liquid comprising at least a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X is O, CO, NH, NR, S or SO<SB>2</SB>; R is an alkyl group; M is hydrogen atom, an alkali metal or an amine compound; (l) is an integer of 1-5; (m) is 1 or 2; and (n) is an integer of 3-7), a water-soluble solvent and water. The inkjet recording device is equipped with a recording head, where the ink set for inkjet is ejected from the recording head.
