A multi purpose paper feeding apparatus including a restriction unit is provided to prevent a recording medium from being broken and polluted by restricting a rotation although a door is open. A multi purpose paper feeding apparatus includes a door(300), a tray(400), and a restriction unit. The door is rotated to open and close a body of an image forming apparatus. The tray is hinge-coupled to the door. The tray is rotated based on a hinge and loads the recording medium in an open state. When the tray is in an open state, the restriction unit prevents the tray from being rotated beyond an allowable angle due to opening of the door. The restriction unit includes a slot(209) and a link(500). The slot is provided at the body of the image forming apparatus to have a long hole. One end of the link, which is removable, is inserted in the slot and another end of the link is fixed to the tray.
