A display device is provided to improve the visibility of a display device in transmissive and reflective modes by configuring a dot sub-pixel in the form of a matrix and configuring a pixel electrode of an icon display unit in the form of a segment. A main display panel(110) includes a main display unit(MDP) including a dot main pixel in a matrix form to display a main image. A sub-display panel(200) includes a sub-display unit(SDP) including a dot sub-pixel in a matrix form to display a sub-image, and an icon display unit(IP) including a segment pixel electrode to display an icon. A connection film(300) electrically connects the main display panel with the sub-display panel. The sub-display panel further includes a first sub-driving circuit for driving the dot sub-pixel and a second sub-driving circuit providing an icon data voltage to the segment pixel electrode. The second sub-driving circuit includes a switching device that is electrically connected to the segment pixel electrode and switches the icon data voltage. |
