An antibody having desired properties which is purified by a method with the use of a substance having an affinity for a sugar chain binding to the antibody; drugs containing the antibody purified by the above method as the active ingredient; and a method of diagnosing or preventing various diseases by using a substance having an affinity for a sugar chain binding to the antibody.
