#CMT# #/CMT# The brake has an operating lever (30) cooperating with a base (20). The lever has a handle (33) formed at an e of the lever. An operating button (40) is located on a side of the handle, and a push rod (50) is connected to the button. A catch (60) has an end connected to the rod and another end provided with a projection (61). A tube (70) is housed in an assembling hole of the lever. A central pivot (80) crosses an interior side of the tube. A tension adjusting plate (90) is installed on the pivot to retain cables. The plate freely rotates around the pivot inside the tube. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Hand brake for being mounted on a manual transmission and between front seats of a large vehicle e.g. coach, lorry or farm tractor. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tension adjusting plate freely rotates around the pivot inside the tube, thus preventing imbalance of tension applied on the sides of the plate, and hence generating equal constraints on the plates. The life duration of the hand brake is therefore improved by improving the life duration of the adjusting plate.
