The laser beam source has a solid body as laser active medium (2) working as a thermal lens, which is arranged in a resonator. Length (L) is provided between an end mirror with a curvature radius (R-1) and a coupling mirror with another curvature radius (R-2). Main levels (8,10) of the thermal lens have gaps (d-1,d-2) from the resonator. A laser active medium is pumped into diodes, where a crystal disk is provided as the laser active medium.
