The method involves removing and determining body medium by a cadaver of a living organism. A radon content is determined to two different measuring time points from the removed body medium, and a time of death is determined from the measurements of the radon content based on well-known decay curve of radon. Heart blood is removed as the body medium by the cadaver, and air is removed as the body medium from lung of the cadavers. The radon content is provided for two different points of measuring time.
