PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for cryptographing that prevents a wiretapper from stealing or destroying part (e.g. a qubit among n-qubits) of a transmitted quantum state (quantum information) when a sender securely transmits an optional quantum state to a recipient without the need for sharing the tangled qubits in pairs. SOLUTION: After applying block coding to each qubit of n-qubit quantum states (quantum information) to be cryptographed by a quantum error correction code, a quantum system having signature information subjected to first cryptographing is added to the entire qubit and a second cryptographing adopting a cryptographic method is applied to the resulting qubit. |
