TOGGLED DAMPER USING LEVERAGE

PURPOSE: A toggle damper using a lever is provided to maximize a damper effect by increasing a damper displacement, and reduce installation cost relatively by using a cheap damper. CONSTITUTION: A toggle damper(100) using a lever comprises diagonal braces(110), a lever(120), and a damper(130). One end of the diagonal braces is installed by a first hinge(111) which connects a bottom beam(101) and columns(103). One end of the lever is movably installed on a center of a top beam(105) by a second hinge(121). The other end of the diagonal braces is movably installed on the upper end part of lever by a third hinge(123). The damper is composed of a main body(131) and a rod(135). The main body is movably installed on the bottom beam by a fourth hinge(133). The rod is movably installed on the other end of lever by a fifth hinge(137).
