<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst with which propylene oxide can be obtained with high selectivity at a low cost by oxidizing propylene with an oxygen mole cule. <P>SOLUTION: A production method, which produces the propylene oxide (oxidized propylene) in the presence of a titanium-containing solid catalyst with air or oxygen which are low in cost without using an expensive peroxide, a noble metal catalyst and an additive, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
