PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container-packed coffee beverage that has a full-bodied taste and natural sweet aroma like a freshly brewed coffee, has high aroma suppressed in deterioration due to a long-term storage and is suppressed in deterioration and to provide a method for producing a container-packed coffee beverage.SOLUTION: The method for producing a container-packed coffee beverage comprises (1) extracting and preparing an extract of coffee beans so that the ratio (A/B) of (A) an extract of pulverized and roasted coffee beans and (B) an extract of unpulverized and roasted coffee beans is 19 to 1 in terms of coffee solid content, (2) adding an alkali to the extract of coffee beans to regulate a pH of the extract of coffee beans to produce a container-packed coffee beverage excellent in aroma. The coffee beverage is suppressed from causing deterioration in flavor due to heating during the production of the container-packed coffee beverage and due to distribution and long-term storage.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
