PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a pre-defined communication quality, without performing the cable replacement work.SOLUTION: An eye pattern creation unit 24 for creating an eye pattern from a test signal received by a receiver 22, a jitter amount calculation unit 25 for calculating the amount of jitter of a test signal from the eye pattern, and a comparison unit 26 for comparing the jitter amount with a preset threshold, and transmitting feedback information indicating the comparison results. A transmission rate variable unit 15 controls the transmission rate of the test signal and communication data transmitted from a transceiver 14, so that the jitter amount of the test signal becomes lower than the threshold, according to the comparison results indicated by the feedback information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
