PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media conveyance mechanism and a media delivery device capable of surely imparting stiffness to a media bundle.SOLUTION: A bill dispenser is provided with a stiffness imparting mechanism 40 inside of a dispensing port 29. The stiffness imparting mechanism 40 uses right and left stiffness imparting parts 45A, 45B provided at outsides of an axis direction of right and left lower discharge pulleys 27A, 27B, while allowing an upper movable shaft 41 to vertically move with respect to lower fixed shafts 42A, 42B according to a thickness of a bill bundle W, to raise up right and left both ends of the bill bundle W that is sandwiched, at a center thereof, by right and left upper belts 21A, 21B and right and left lower belts 25A, 25B, thereby imparting stiffness to the bill bundle W. The stiffness imparting mechanism 40 having such a configuration can impart stiffness sufficient for preventing top ends of the bill bundle W from drooping regardless of the thickness of the bill bundle W, and thus can more surely impart stiffness to the bill bundle W compared to a prior art.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
