PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dye composition that can improve stability of the dye in a constitution containing a carbonate in the hair dye composition, and to provide a method for stabilizing a color tone of the hair dye composition.SOLUTION: A hair dye composition containing a carbonate includes: (A) at least one kind selected from resorcin and a derivative thereof as well as salts thereof, in which the upper limit of a formulation amount of (A) component is 0.2 mass% or less; and (B) at least one kind of dye selected from 5-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-2-methyl phenol, 1,5-dihydroxynaphthalene, and nitro dye.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
