PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which inhibits resonance of a rotary shaft when a brush contacting with a commutator vibrates.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a cylindrical commutator 26 attached to an outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft 22; and a brush 52 configured to contact with the commutator 26 and through which electric current flows. The electric motor has: a cylindrical elastic member 37 disposed between the rotary shaft 22 and the commutator 26; outer recessed parts and outer protruding parts which are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the elastic member 37; and inner recessed parts and inner protruding parts formed on an inner peripheral surface of the elastic member 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
