1. An encoding method executed by a processor included in a computer, the method comprising:
specifying a position of a signal having an abrupt amplitude change included in a high-frequency component of an audio signal, corresponding to a position of a signal having an abrupt amplitude change included in a low-frequency component of the audio signal; detecting the signal having the abrupt amplitude change included in the high-frequency component of the audio signal, based on the high-frequency component of the audio signal and the specified position; and encoding the high-frequency component of the audio signal based on the detected signal, wherein the specifying includes:
extracting a first frame including a signal having an abrupt amplitude change from among a plurality of frames corresponding to a low-frequency component of the audio signal, andspecifying a second frame including a signal having an abrupt amplitude change from among a plurality of frames corresponding to a high-frequency component of the audio signal, by adding a predetermined time to a time of the first frame, and wherein the detecting includes:
dividing the specified second frame into a plurality of subframes, anddetecting a subframe having an abrupt amplitude change from among the plurality of subframes. |
