<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reading function attached lock capable of reading card information by non-contact without causing any troubles of an operation and lowering power without wastefully consuming power. <P>SOLUTION: The information reading function attached lock 1 is so constituted that a detection window 2a is bored in the surface on the outdoor side of a door 2, a detecting means 11 for outputting a detecting signal when an object or a person approaching the detection window 2a is detected, a receiver 12 for receiving the card information transmitted from an IC card 3 by the non- contact, a battery 15 for supplying a driving power source to every part including the receiver 12 and a controlling means 14 controlled so that the power source is supplied to the receiver 12 from the battery 15 when the detecting signal is inputted from the detecting means 11 and controlling the unlocking of an electric lock 4 when the card information received by the receiver 12 is decided as the good contents allowable for entering the room are unified to incorporate them into the door 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
