摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for enhancing seismic resistance of a banking wall reinforced at both ends and having a large slenderness ratio, and ease of long-term maintenance and management by mitigating residual deformation even when a large seismic ground motion of L2-class is exerted on the banking wall reinforced at both ends, the construction method raising and maintaining rigidity of the overall structure of the banking wall reinforced at both ends and having a large slenderness ratio and suppressing long-term residual deformation.SOLUTION: A wall surface that covers an entire top edge of a banking wall reinforced at both ends and a beam 6 installed in a lengthwise direction of the banking wall reinforced at both ends are connected to a tie rod penetrating through the wall surfaces at both ends and anchored at a bottom edge of the wall surface with a vertical tensioning member 7. Thus, a vertical reactive force is taken on the lower edge of the wall surfaces at both ends for tightening the vertical tensioning member, vertically pre-loading and pre-stressing the reinforced banking, and vertically pre-stressing the wall surfaces on both ends with the tie rod penetrating through the wall surfaces at both ends and anchored at the bottom edge of the wall surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
