<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply enhance the subsequent nonlinear distortion compensating effect by materializing the oppression of clipping distortion components without letting it mistake error operation. <P>SOLUTION: A power computing and amplitude limitation judging part 13 computes the power value (x) of digital orthogonal base band signals I and Q from a transmission data generation part 1, and judges whether the amplitude limitation is necessary or not by comparing the power value (x) with the power threshold (y) set by a threshold setter 14. An amplitude maximum value limiting part 12 performs the amplitude maximum value limitation based on the judgment result in the power computing and amplitude limitation judging part 13, to the orthogonal base band signal from the transmission data generator 1. Then, the distortion compensation by the complex multiplication based on the distortion compensation data by a nonlinear distortion compensation calculating part 2 is performed o the digital orthogonal base band signal where the amplitude maximum limitation is performed already by the amplitude maximum value limiting part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
