<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a child to easily input a command equivalent to an icon or a short cut key by defining a color and a command, and reading a color by a picture reading means mounted on a mouse device. <P>SOLUTION: The input operation system is provided with a corresponding registration chart 14 for registering color data digitized into three colors, that is, red, blue, and green and a command for executing an input operation as a pair, a picture input part 11 for reading a picture when a right switch 25 and a left switch 24 are simultaneously depressed, a converting part 12 for digitizing the picture read by the picture input part 11 into three colors, that is, red, blue, and green to convert the picture into color data, a comparing part 13 for comparing the converted color data with the color data of the corresponding registration chart 14, and for acquiring the command corresponding to the matched color data.
