PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a conductive foam with suitable conductivity and uniform foam cell structure by dispersing alkaline metal titanate in a foam so as to be contained in the said foam. CONSTITUTION:A conductive foam is made by dispersing conductive alkaline metal titanate in a foam so as to be contained. As for the resin for making the said foam, for example, vinyl chloride plastics, polyurethane plastics or olefin plastics can be used. As for the conductive alkaline metal titanate a titanate commonly named reducing alkaline metal titanate or alkaline metal bronz titanate can be used. After mixing and kneading a specified amount of the said foam resin, conductive alkaline metal titanate, crosslinking agent and other additives, the mixture is formed to a sheet or a specified shape at a temperature lower than the decomposition temperature of the blowing agent, and then the blowing agent is decomposed to make the foam. Thereby a foam with suitable conductivity and uniform foam cell structure can be obtained.
