PURPOSE:To prevent moire fringes from being formed by sealing the object side end part of an image guide and part of a gap at a tip constitution part with a sealing member over the entire periphery, and vibrating the object side end part of the image guide in front of the sealing member in an insertion direction. CONSTITUTION:The object side end part of the image guide 2 is fitted loosely in an opening 3a formed in the tip constitution part 3, the sealing member 4 made of a ring-shaped rigid body is fitted to the tip constitution part 3 so as to seal the gap between the opening 3a and a ferrule 2b at the rear end part of the opening to nearly the entire periphery, and both end parts of a piezoelectric bimorph material 5 are extended in the optical axis direction of the image guide 2 and fixed to the sealing member 4 and the tip part of the ferrule 2b respectively. Then a necessary driving voltage is applied to the piezoelectric bimorph material 5 through leas wires 6 to vibrate the object side end part of the image guide at right angles to the optical axis in front of the sealing material 4 in the insertion direction. Consequently, fiber meshes are removed in an invariably excellent visual field and moire fringes are prevented from being generated.
