摘要 |
The shoe includes a central guide body (11) having a pair of bores for receiving a pair of seamless steel tubes (17a, 17b), parted from a length of extruded raw material. A pair of steel end plates (22a (Fig. 1), 22b) and a pair of steel track pins (23a, 23b) form a shoe framework which resists damage from explosions. A pair of connectors (47a, 47b) secure a first shoe framework to an adjacent shoe framework. Lightweight noncritical parts, e.g. rubber pad 35 and aluminium body sections, (28a, 28b) which are more easily damaged are added to the framework to improve performance. If these noncritical parts are blown away an endless track on a vehicle can still function until damaged parts are replaced. <IMAGE>
