<p>PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of a stored data and deterioration/destruction of a storage means by providing a casing for housing the storage means, a connector for outer connection and a coupling element for electrically coupling between a ground terminal and the casing. CONSTITUTION:A printed board 23 mounted with plural semiconductor memories 22 for storing data is fixed by a frame 24. Then, metal panels 25 and 26 are supported on both sides of the frame 24, and one end part of the frame 24 is provided with the connector 27 for outer connection for electrically connecting a terminal device with this semiconductor storage device 21. The connector 27 has plural terminals such as the ground terminal 27a, plural input and output terminals 27b and a power source terminal, etc., and a ground line 23a of the printed board 23 is electrically coupled with a panel 26 by a coupling condensor 28. By this method, even when electrostatic discharge is caused on the panels 25 and 26, destruction of the stored data and deterioration and destruction of the storage means such as the semiconductor memories 22, etc., can be prevented.</p> |
