<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the configuration by common use of circuit constitution, to facilitate the control and to reduce the hardware quantity by using a major part of a processor unit or the like used for matrix calculation so as to detect a moving vector. CONSTITUTION:The picture coding circuit is provided with plural processor units 200-1-200-16 having input terminals 100a, 100b, 100c, an output terminal 101, vector output terminals 102a, 102b, input terminals 201a, 201b, 201c, and output terminals 202a, 202b, with plural selectors 300-1-300-17, buses 301,302, memories 303,304 such as random access memories, a comparator 305 and plural delay circuits 310-1-310-16 comprising registers or the like. Processor units whose mode is selected are employed to apply matrix calculation and moving vector detection for moving compensation. Thus, multi-function is attained and lots of parts of the circuit constitution are used in common.</p> |
