<p>A wiper apparatus for a vehicle in which a tensile spring (30) is held at one end end of a wiper arm (12A) for holding a wiper blade (14A), while one end of a hook (32) is retained at the other end of the tensile spring (30), one end of a spring lever (34) being retained at the other end of the hook (32). The other end of the spring lever (34) abuts against a cam (38) having contact surfaces (42, 44, 50, 52) and adapted to change the position in which the spring lever (34) is supported. In addition, the cam (38) is disposed around an outer periphery of a pivot shaft (22) coaxially with and rotatably relative to the pivot shaft (22). The cam (38) has a motor gear (58) disposed coaxially and rotatably on an inner side thereof, and the motor gear (58) rotates the cam (38) by means of a driving force of a motor (64) in correspondence with a change in vehicle speed. <IMAGE></p> |
