PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a delay time from a user's entry into a washing place to the start of shower discharge, and automatically turn on and off the shower. CONSTITUTION:When human body sensors SE1 and SE2 composed of an infrared sensor or the like detect a human being nearing a shower device body, a control section PC1 opens a valve V1, thereby starting shower discharge. Also, when the sensors SE1 and SE2 detect a human being nearing the shower device body at a shower discharging process, a time for keeping the valve V1 open is extended, depending upon the frequency of detection. When the sensors SE1 and SE2 no longer detect a human being, the valve V1 is automatically closed on the operation of the control section PC1. |
