VALVE DEVICE FOR PREVENTING GENERATION OF SHOCK TORQUE OF CLUTCH

PURPOSE:To provide a valve device for preventing the generation of shock torque of a clutch which is constituted to facilitate ensurance of a stable throttle area without being influenced by viscosity of working liquid and a speed. CONSTITUTION:A valve device for preventing the generation of shock torque of a clutch comprises a housing 21; a valve member 27 having a communicating passage 27a to form a throttle through intercommunication of first and second chambers 40 and 41 in a cylinder space 24; a first spring 26 through the force of which the valve member is energized in a direction in which the first chamber is cut off from the second chamber; and a second spring 30 through the force of which the valve member is energized in a reverse direction to the first spring. Either the first spring or the second spring is formed of a shape memory alloy. When the temperature of working liquid exceeds a given value, the valve member is situated in a position to cut off the first chamber from the second chamber through the force of the first or the second spring. Further, a wall member 29 disposed between an output port 23 and the valve member is provided.
