<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the on-current of a driving transistor while reducing the off-current of a switching transistor as to a display unit comprising thin-film transistors. <P>SOLUTION: The film thickness of the channel region of the switching transistor of the display unit is made thinner than the film thickness of the channel region of the driving transistor to increase the off-resistance of the switching transistor and also reduce the on-resistance of the driving transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
