<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which is excellent in water- resistance and light-resistance for a water-base ink image, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: A polyallylamine polymer wherein the first amino group of the side chain of a polyallylamine is partially replaced with an acyl group, a carbamoyl group or an alkoxy-carbonyl group, or its salt is made to exist in this inkjet recording medium to which a water-base ink containing a dye is adhered. Thus, the inkjet recording medium which is excellent in water- resistance and light-resistance for the recorded water-base ink image is obtained. Also, by adhering drops of the water-base ink to the inkjet recording medium wherein the polyallylamine polymer or its salt is made to exist, an inkjet recording which is excellent in water-resistance and light-resistance can be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
