<p>The fan, designed to ensure the flow of a fluid from one zone to another, consists of a rotor (1) connected to a drive (6) supported inside a ring (8), and a connecting piece (10) forming a generally toroid intake, attached to the front of the ring (8) by fixings (11). The connecting piece (10) is in the shape of a portion of a cylinder with the same inner diameter as the ring and connected to the ring with a smooth joint. The rotor drive is supported by two or more struts (7) positioned radially between the drive and the ring and with the outer ends (7b) of the struts situated to the rear of their inner ends. The ring is made from rolled and welded metal sheet.</p> |
