PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device to which a multipolar connector is attached. SOLUTION: A multipolar connector 1 is composed of a plug 2 having eight projections 10 and a socket 3 having eight contactors 23. The pug 2 includes a cylindrical cover 6 and projections 10 as a plurality of pins protruded from a peripheral surface at equal intervals in the axial direction of the cover 6. A socket 20 includes a fitting hole 21 formed circular in section and like a deep hole for fitting of the cover 6 and a long groove 21a for inserting of the projections in the peripheral surface of the fitting hole 21, which are provided so as to be recessed. Also, in the socket 20, a plurality of contactors 23 are arranged in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of circular-arc guiding grooves are formed so as to be extended from the long groove 21a to the contactors 23. The contactors 23 are buried in the socket 3 such that its one end faces the guiding groove and the other end is exposed to the outside. |
