PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a state history information on an electronic guarantee certificate as the state history information on a commodity by displaying and recording the history of the period when the certificate is normally fixed to a pedestal attached to the commodity or the history of the period when the certificate is separated from the pedestal. SOLUTION: An electronic guarantee certificate 1 is composed of an electronic certificate display/recording part 4 and an electronic certificate pedestal 5. The part 4 includes a state history display part 2', a display changeover switch 3 and a warning light 6. At the same time, plural electrode projections are provided on the back of the part 4 and a resistance pattern 7 is formed on the pedestal 5. It is possible to surely display and record the state history of a commodity via the certificate 1 and also to accurately grasp the period when the certificate 1 is not normally fixed to the pedestal 5 by displaying and recording the history information on one or both of periods when the certificate 1 is normally fixed to and separated from the pedestal 5 attached to the commodity.
