PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyzed water producing device which can perform safely the washing of an oxidative/reductive potential sensor. SOLUTION: An electrolytic water producing device concerned is equipped with an electrolyte jar 10 which electrolyzes the fed water, produces an alkali ion water and acid ion water and discharges these electrolyzed waters individually, and an oxidative/reductive potential sensor 1 which measures and displays the oxidative/reductive potential of the electrolyzed water discharged from the jar 10. The working electrode 2 of non-soluble metal of this potential sensor 1 is subjected to treatments with a strong acid ion water L1, an acid ion water L2 in a lower acidity, and an alkali ion water L3 in the sequence as named, thereby washing the surface of the working electrode 2. Accordingly the working electrode 2 can be washed with such an acidous or alkaline ion water, wherein no use of any pharmaceutical having toxicity is required. |
