<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly deploy an air bag covering a window part of an automobile in a predetermined behavior. <P>SOLUTION: When folding the air bag 1, a first holding part 57, a second folding part 58 and a collection part 56 are provided from the side of a gas introduction port. The collection part 56 is wound in the rolled state from the lower end. The first folding part 57 is arranged on the outside of the collection part 56, and the second folding part 58 is arranged on the side of a compartment 4 of the collection part 56. When gas is introduced into the air bag 1, first, the first holding part 57 is deployed and presses the collection part 56 toward the compartment 4 side as well as secures a projection port of the air bag 1 by pressing the head lining 17. And when the second folding part 58 is deployed, the projection port of the air bag 1 is further widened and presses the collection part 56 downward.
