<p>The complete sequence of the canine von Willebrand Factor cDNA and deduced amino acid sequence is provided. The mutation which causes von Willebrand's Disease in Scottish Terriers, a single base deletion in exon 4, has also been determined. Methods for detecting carriers of the defective vWF gene are also provided.</p> |
