Roller-coating head for reactive polyurethane adhesive

This roller (3) for a new adhesive application head coats e.g. reactive polyurethane adhesive (1) onto sheets. Mounting the roller in a pair of end holders, is a novel feature. By retracting them, the roller is released e.g. for cleaning. Preferably, nuts on the holders are turned to release the roller. A metering slide (8) defines adhesive layer thickness on the roller. This slide is mounted on a tilting cover (9) used to open and close the adhesive vessel (1). An inlet (6) fills the vessel (4) from an external supply.
