The invention relates to a cylinder device comprising a bend-controlled cylinder with a peripheral hollow cylinder and a crosshead (13) longitudinally traversing the cylinder. The crosshead (13) bends when subjected to a load. The ends (14) of the crosshead (13) protruding from the hollow cylinder are arranged on bearing mounts (30) in the cylinder housing. Said bearing mounts (30) comprise interacting smooth reduced hydraulic load sliding surfaces (23, 24) accomodating the longitudinal extension of the crosshead (13), and optionally interacting reduced hydraulic load spherical surfaces (19, 21) absorbing the bending of the crosshead (13).
