<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit image data to an individual address by analyzing whether or not received electronic mail contains a control instruction and registering a destination mail address that the electronic mail contains in a memory when the electronic mail contains the control instruction. SOLUTION: A LAN control part receives character code data of electronic mail (S42) and analyzes an electronic mail body (S42). Then it is judged whether or not the body contains a description representing a control instruction (S43) and when a control instruction statement is present, the character string is analyzed (S44). Then an administrator mail address is registered in an external storage part (S45) and the destination mail address and its abbreviated ID number, and the destination address of error mail are registered in the external storage part (S46) while made to correspond to one another. Further, a transfer destination mail address of G3FAX is registered in the external storage part (S47). Consequently, the operability can be improved.</p> |
