Roller applicable to drying rollers on fruit-washing lines, particularly for citrus fruits. It is formed by a rotary, rigid cylindrical core 1 in which are inserted spaced divider washers 2 on which rods 3 are arranged symmetrically in the longitudinal direction and with an identical-pitch helical layout for all of them. The longitudinal shafts of the drying rollers and rinser rollers are parallel and are distanced by less than the sum of their radii. <IMAGE>
