PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the phenomenon called cockling generated by the surging on the surface of a printed section and improve carrying properties by specifying the specified degree mirror face glossiness based on the specified standard at the specified percentage or less on the outermost face on the side of support layers. SOLUTION: Support layers are formed on the opposite face of an ink acceptive layer through a base paper, and at least one layer of the supporting layers is formed of a composition composed of nonaqueous resin as a main component to control the distortion of a recording paper without affecting ink jet recording properties and improve the generation of cockling. Also its is important to secure the carrying properties by carrying out the ink jet recording at high speed. When the surface is provided with 70% or less in the 75 deg. mirror face glossiness specified by JIS P8142 of the outermost surface on the side of the support layers, good carrying properties can be provided effectively by finishing the outermost surface on the side of the supporting layers into the specified glossiness. |
