PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a moderate steering force in high-speed traveling, and to have any load pressure reduced in cold starting, in the flow rate controller equipped with a flow rate regualring spool valve with a control rod. SOLUTION: A ball valve 25 in contact with a valve seat of a first inlet 23 is installed in a valve port 20 of a flow rate regulating spool valve 9, and also a direct-acting valve 26 in contact with a valve seat of a second inlet 24 is installed therein. A spring 27 is installed in space between the ball valve 25 and the direct-acting valve 26. In the flow rate regulating spool valve 9, a bypass port 28 is formed in an area lying between the ball valve 25 and the direct-acting valve 26. A control rod 30 is installed so as to pierce through the second inlet 24. In addition, the control rod 30 is provided with an inlet passage 33 for introducing a working fluid into the spool valve 9. When pressure value of the working fluid to be introduced from the inlet passage 33 exceeds the predetermined setting pressure value, the direct-acting valve 26 sets the working fluid being introduced from the inlet passage 33 free to a bypass passage 5. |
