摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the expansion of the number of simultaneous users economically by independently controlling the recording and reproduction of AV information respectively based on control information from terminals and file arrangement information obtained from a managing part. SOLUTION: AV input-output units 105a and 105b independently receive control information that is sent from terminals from control information communication networks 102a and 102b respectively, acquire file arrangement information from a management unit 104 by using a file arrangement information communication line 107 as necessary and control recording and reproduction of AV information. In both cases of the recording and reproduction, a control information inputting and outputting part is useful when temporal restriction between control information and AV information of a broadcasting station, etc., because it exists in each unit 105a and 105b and short time response and fixed time response designs are easy. Relating to a video server with such a configuration, each AV input-output unit can share and utilize every storage unit in a storage part channel 108.
