<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel-cell unit, which shows the high cell characteristic, and its manufacturing method even if an electrolyte layer, which consists of proton conductive gel, is created by the sol-gel process, cracks do not occur in the electrolyte layer, but the adhesion nature of a catalyst layer and the electrolyte layer is good. <P>SOLUTION: As for the fuel-cell unit, which has the cell structure which allotted the catalyst layer and the gas diffusion layer to this order on both faces of the main face of the electrolyte layer, respectively, the above electrolyte layer consists of proton-conductive gel, and it makes a layer, which consists of ion-exchange resin, exist at least in a part, which touches the inside of the catalyst layer or the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
