PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt power supply after occurrence of an earthquake and when power supply is restored, by providing a sensor detecting means, a timer, a control unit, a storing means for storing signals in memory, and a deleting means for, when is no power failure after a predetermined time interval has passed after the actuation timer, and deleting the signals stored. SOLUTION: CPU 2 comprises a sensor detecting portion, a timer, a control unit, and the section for signal storage memory, and a seismic detector 5 and a relay 4 are connected thereto. At the time of an earthquake, the seismic detector 5 detects quakes from the earthquake, and a signal from the seismic detector 5 is transmitted to the CPU 2. Thus the sensor detecting portion detects the occurrence of the earthquake. The control circuit in the CPU 2 stores in signal storage memory a signal, indicating that the timer was triggered by the detection of the earthquake and is now in operation. If a power failure occurs when the timer is in operation, the signal is not deleted but instead remains. Thus fire caused by damages to wirings which can break out due to restoration of power supply is prevented. |
