The invention concerns a composition for oxidation dyeing of keratinous fibres, and in particular human keratinous fibres such as hair, comprising as oxidation base a 1-(4-aminophenyl) pyrrolodine substituted in positions 2 and 5. The invention also concerns the method dyeing keratinous fibres using said compositions.
