PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof facing type safety net system capable of laying a nonmetal made-net supported by a purlin for ensuring safety in roof work of the persons related to building construction to prevent a falling accident and, at the same time, laying an insulating material, a roof panel or the like by leaving the net unchanged. SOLUTION: The roof facing type safety net system for laying the nonmetal made-safety net laid on the purlin of a roof and supported by the purlin is so constituted that a plurality of strip bodies 24 connecting the edge of the safety net are substantially and plastically deformed without breakage even if heavy load is applied to the safety net and is transferred in such a case when a worker falls down and that the safety net is prevented from being cut off.
